I am writing today’s post as Charlie is feeling way too sorry for himself after going to the vet for his booster vaccinations.
“A shameful embarrassment” said mum.
So I am going to tell you about the Very Important Pets Club which we have just signed up to.
The scheme is run by Pets at Home and most importantly, it means that when my mum and dad buy us food, goodies, toys and cuddly beds from the store, they accumulate Lifeline points which are donated to our chosen charity to redeem for Pets at Home products.
We do get special offers and vouchers for the Pets at Home store and their Groom Room services so that mum can save money too.
You even get to choose the charity you want to support, this bit was really hard because all the charities are deserving. However, we chose Eden Animal Rescue because they are local to us and don’t get the publicity that the larger ones do.
They have a great section on their website where you can see and read about all the animals in need of a loving home.
Registration and benefits
Mum filled in a form at the Pets at Home store and got a temporary card to use but it’s easy to register online too.
She went home and logged onto the Pets at Home VIP site to choose our charity and then waited for our permanent cards to arrive.
Postie brought them today and in the pack was a credit card size swipe card and two handy key fob cards.
We also got a 10% voucher for the Pets at Home or Groom Room store…Christmas is coming soon mum!
The Very Important Pets Club magazine which we get every few months, is packed full of useful advice.
Members can also get telephone expert advice if needed.
Remember to tell your friends! More VIP Club members means more money for pet charities.
