The strong winds over the last few days have customised Bitts park in Carlisle.
A big tree which must be about 100 years old snapped near the bottom of the trunk bringing it’s huge canopy down, breaking off branches and damaging some of the younger trees.
Other trees have been damaged and the big plastic dome which covered the tennis courts has a huge tear.
The river was high and flowing very quickly, looking more like chocolate than water.
Mum cut our walk slightly short because it started to hail. The little balls of ice got lodged in my fur making rivers of cold water run down my back.
Needless to say, by the time we got back to the car I was soaking wet….again.
Good job mum had those towels ready.
Only 6 sleeps left until Christmas.
Bye for now
Charlie
