Many two leggers say that a red sky on a morning is the harbinger of bad weather later in the day.

Well, given the colour of the sky this morning it looks as if we are in for some seriously bad weather.
Boiling red clouds mixed with orange and purple highlights made the sky scary and in a way beautiful.
It was just before dawn as Dad and I headed out into Bitts Park in the City for a walk and some fresh air.
It was so early even the cars still had their headlights on and milk bottles had not been brought in from many doorsteps.
We had the park to ourselves with only the tweeting birds for company and the occasional cyclist off to work.
To our right as we left the park just after 8am, we were rewarded with a stunning red sky high above the city. Bare tree branches appeared in silhouette, as if frozen like plastic ferns in a fish tank against an illuminated vinyl backdrop.
It was quite a morning walk and one I am glad I got up early to witness.
Until next time
