Virgin balloon website<\/a>, it appears that the nearest launch site to Carlisle in near to Penrith, at Dalemain.<\/p>\nIf this was the start of the flight earlier today then the passengers and crew should have had a really good view from the basket \u00a0as they floated north.<\/p>\n
Possibly they used the M6 as an aerial reference during the journey.<\/p>\n
It appeared as if they came down to the west of the city, possibly near to the recently opened Dobbies store.<\/p>\n
