Outlander is being filmed in my home city of Carlisle this week and I thought I would find out if any of my four legged friends are involved in the production.<\/p>\n
I discovered that there are a number of Irish Wolfhounds which feature regularly and people seem particularly fond of one of them, I think he goes by the name of Rollo, but I can’t find any information on him and his friends.<\/p>\n
These Irish Wolfhounds became the topic of news a few months ago when Tim McInnerny, (used to play Captain Darling in Blackadder) was bitten by one during filming.\u00a0 A few articles suggest that they attacked him but it seems that they were filming a chase sequence and the dogs were let off the leash before the stunt man was ready to take Tim’s place.<\/p>\n
